Jay B. Mills began his insurance career in 1957,
writing Life, Group, Commercial, and Personal Insurance coverages. The business was
incorporated in 1973. The agency started writing Associations in 1978 for such organizations as the Dental Laboratory Owners Association of California, the California Optical Laboratories Association and the Independent Sir Speedy Printers Owners Association of California. These Associations were the catalyst for the expansion of insurance services in California, as well as in Arizona, and Nevada. Today, Jay B. Mills Agency, Inc. specializes in Commercial and Personal business throughout the Southwest. The agency owns and operates its own aircraft to facilitate prompt service to their insurance customers and also has facilities in Las Vegas although all formal services and processing is handled in the El Cajon, California headquarters. Gregory H. Mills joined Jay B. Mills Agency, Inc. in 1979. Gregory is now President of the agency and Jay is the Chairman of the Board. Gregory has been active in the Independent Agents & Brokers Association of San Diego for many years and served as Vice President of the Association in 1998 and as President in 1999. Servicing insurance needs of individuals, corporations, associations and non-profit groups for many years, this family-held corporation looks forward to expanded personal service in the new millennium.
